Communications from HON ALANNAH MACTIERNAN MLC (Minister for Regional Development; Agriculture and Food; Minister Assisting the Minister for State Development, Jobs and Trade) and her team confirm; the Industrial Hemp Act 2004 Amendment Bill 2018 (to increase the allowable THC content from 0.35% to 1%) was passed by the Legislative Council on Tuesday and the Legislative Assembly today. It now has to go to the Executive Council for proclamation and they expect this process to be completed by mid-September. Before seasonal sowing begins!!!
